Coffee and Plants: Enhancing Ambiance with ModuLED Stealth Track
Overview:
Coffee and Plants, a high-end coffee boutique with two locations in California, one in Pasadena, and the second in Studio City, emits a cozy atmosphere with traditional furniture, pastel walls, and decorative foliage. The new location in Studio City aimed to create a vibrant, yet glare-free environment that highlights key areas and design elements.
The Challenge:
The primary challenge was to provide bright ambient lighting while avoiding glare, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers. The design needed to accentuate both the coffee bar and food preparation areas, as well as the store’s unique décor.
The Solution:
Breakthrough Lighting selected ModuLED Stealth track for its flexibility and design compatibility. The system uses 24V track with 1500 lumen adjustable spot cylinders, providing superior color rendering with 90 CRI light sources. Fixtures are aimed indirectly to highlight objects and signage without causing glare.
The white finish of the track and fixtures complements the light pastel colors and architectural finishes of the interior. The suspended track system allows staff to easily reposition and re-aim fixtures, accommodating seasonal changes or special events.
Results:
The lighting solution successfully created a lively and energetic environment, enhancing the boutique’s atmosphere for dining, studying, or working. The ModuLED Stealth track provided the necessary flexibility and visual comfort, contributing to the overall appeal of the space.
